CNOOC Australia Overview
Australia is one of CNOOC’s oversea core business areas. In May 2003, CNOOC signed the ESPA (Equity Sale and Purchase Agreement) to acquire a 5.3% interest in the North West Shelf (NWS) project. Since then, CNOOC’s business in Australia has grown rapidly, ranging from upstream to downstream. The highlights of our activities in Australia include:
